Op Ed In The Case Of Travis Hunter Stop Comparing A Unicorn To Horses

Op-Ed: In the case of Travis Hunter, stop comparing a unicorn to horses

The five-star recruit from Suwannee, Georgia is the top-ranked player in the country and has been compared to some of the best players in recent college football history

Five-star recruit Travis Hunter is the top-ranked player in the country and has been compared to some of the best players in recent college football history. Some have even called him the next Deion Sanders. But that’s not fair to Hunter.

Sanders was a once-in-a-generation talent. He was a two-sport star who excelled in both football and baseball, and he was one of the most exciting players to watch in college football history. Hunter is a great player, but he’s not Sanders.

Hunter is his own player, and he has his own unique set of skills. He’s a versatile athlete who can play multiple positions, and he has the size, speed, and athleticism to be a star at the next level.

But he’s not Sanders. And that’s okay. Not everyone can be a unicorn. Most people are just horses. And that’s okay too.

In this case, Hunter is the unicorn, and everyone else is a horse. That doesn’t mean that the horses are bad. It just means that they’re not the same as the unicorn.

So let’s stop comparing Hunter to Sanders. Let’s just enjoy his talent and appreciate him for what he is: a special player who could be one of the best in the country. One day he may reach the level of Sanders, but he’s not there yet and it may never happen.

Breaking down the comparison

There are a few reasons why it’s not fair to compare Hunter to Sanders. First, Sanders was a once-in-a-generation talent. He was a two-sport star who excelled in both football and baseball, and he was one of the most exciting players to watch in college football history. Hunter is a great player, but he’s not Sanders.

Second, Hunter is still a high school player. He has yet to play a single game of college football. Sanders was a proven star at the college level. He was a two-time All-American and a Heisman Trophy finalist. Hunter has the potential to be a great player, but he has yet to prove himself at the college level.

Third, Hunter is his own player. He has his own unique set of skills.
